Centaurer är ganska vanliga bland arterna på Mythoss, men deras skuggkusiner har länge bara varit ett fasansfullt minne från rikets första tidsålder. När Poxxus återvänder till Mythoss öppnar han Nethergate och låter en skock av dessa mardrömmar terrorisera Mythoss igen. Som de dödligaste jägarna i Cirkeln sänder Poxxus sina skuggcentaurer för att söka upp och döda ledarna för Sammankallandet. Skuggcentaurerna bryter sig in i Bassylias torn och jagar sitt byte, men en bekant Necromancer och andarna från de lärda som en gång försvarade dessa lärdomens salar står resolut i deras väg.

While Centaurs are somewhat common amongst the species of Mythoss, their Shadow cousins have long been nothing more than a horrific memory from the First Age of the Realm. As Poxxus returns to Mythoss, he opens the Nethergate and allows a stampede of these nightmares to terrorize Mythoss once again. As the deadliest hunters in the Circle, Poxxus sends his Shadow Centaurs to seek out and slay the leaders of the Convocation. Breaking into the Tower of Bassylia, the Shadow Centaurs hunt their prey, but a familiar-looking Necromancer, and the spirits of the scholars who once defended those halls of learning, stand resolutely in their way.
